The Discovery of GaeaIn the year 2052, a new planet was discovered in our solar system. This planet was not the fabled planet beyond Pluto, nor was it hidden among the asteroid belt as many thought it would be. In fact, it was far closer to home than anybody could have guessed. Twenty years earlier, a satellite was launched from Earth for the purpose of taking pictures of the planet from as far away as technology would allow. However, when the satellite turned its camera back on earth, what it found was two earths – one on either side of the sun.
