Wooh! It's a new version of good ol' Gilex. [link]
And now to copy and paste the background story from the original... Kaiju Rising is a series of pictures I did in which I take one of my friends or family members and transport them to the Godzilla universe as their own monster. It's really more for me than them, since I'm the only Godzilla fan I know. Name - Gilex Length - 40 meters Weight - 60,000 tons Powers - Maser cannon in chest; small jets housed in shoulder blades allow limited flight; arm mounted scythe; computer augmented intelligence; various visual augmentations After 4 failed attempts at procuring Earth for themselves, the Xilian Empire had lost all desire for its resources or strategic placement in the galaxy they wanted to prove to all the other races that the Xilians could overcome any foe. They wanted to prove that not even the demon-beast Godzilla could win against the might of the Xilian army. However, they had failed at every previous attempt at destroying the creature: the mechanical monsters they sent were simply unable to process information fast enough to be useful in battle, mind control of existing monsters proved repeatedly to be unreliable, and even a full-out assault of the entire Xilian army (an event now referred to as Operation: Final War) proved to be an utter failure against the demon. New technologies and innovations soon provided the Xilians with an answer to their problems, however. With all of the greatest minds in the galaxy working together, the Xilians were able to create an ultimate weapon. Using one of earths most resilient creatures, the rat, the scientists were able to augment and mutate it until it became the most efficient killing machine the Xilians had ever created. By the end of the process, the creature stood at about 40 meters tall and was equipped with a multitude of weapon systems, including (but not limited to): advanced targeting and information systems in the eyepiece, an arm mounted plasma sword, a maser beam housed in the chest, and a couple rockets were attached to its back, allowing for greater speed and flying capabilities. Content with their weapon, the scientists named it Gilex, after the mighty Emperor Xelig. Gilex was paraded around the galaxy, touted as the greatest weapon ever created. It was fast, powerful, incredibly intelligent, and an implant installed directly in the brain ensured that it would always listen to orders, no matter what. It was the envy of all members of the Alliance, who soon came together to launch an enormous attack on Earth, with Gilex leading the way. Gilex certainly lived up to expectations. With almost no effort, he toppled the demon-beast Godzilla, rendering him completely helpless against the barrage of attacks. After weakening it enough, Gilex closed in on the King of the Monsters, ready to bite deep into its neck to deliver the final blow. However, an unexpected visitor showed itself Mothra, sensing that Gilexs actions were not of its own will, decided to help the creature. Showing a magic not of this world, Mothra managed to completely destroy the implant in Gilexs brain, without so much as even scratching him. Not wasting even a moment in hesitation, Gilex turned on his enslavers and managed to destroy most, if not all, of the invading army in under a few hours. Gilex, who came with the Xilians on a mission of destruction, has managed to become one of the most helpful creatures on Earth, protecting his planet without any thought for his own well-being. The technology that covers him has advanced the technology of the human race by hundreds of years, and even more astoundingly, Gilex has actually fought alongside humans of his own free will many times, proving himself to be one of the greatest protectors we have.
