An Interesting Question

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 23, 2008, 3:39 PM
I was driving along today and I started thinking (as I often do). And all of a sudden, a question popped into my head that I now pose to you. What was the single most important moment of the 20th century to you? In your opinion, if you could go back to any time in the past 100 (well, a hundred and eight, technically) years, what is the one second that you would try to get to, the one instant that you would take a picture of that would, in a way, represent everything about the people of the 20th century?

It's a hard question, I know, but I'm truly, honestly interested in hearing your answers. So please, think about it a bit and come back to me with your answer. I'd like to hear as many as I can, and I'm sure going to be asking as many people as possible.

So, I'm still drowning in school work, but honestly I'm having a great time. I'm working on an enormous project at the moment that, when I'm done (probably around the end of the semester) I'll be putting up on DA. Unfortunately, I probably won't get much else drawing done before then, so... don't expect anything from little ol' me for a while.

In the meantime! I've been meaning to talk about this for a long time now. I'd like to introduce you all to my favorite podcast in the entire world - Radio Lab. I will say this - it is technically a science show. However, don't let that scare you off. I like to think of it as more of a show on exploration. Every single episode I listen to fills me with a sense of awe and wonder and quite often makes chills go down my spine with how amazing it is. Instead of taking out the wonder in things, like so many careless science teachers often do, these guys often rekindle that wonder in the world (at least for me).

So please check it out. It's on iTunes, and you can easily put it on in the background while you're working or something. I put it on my ipod and listen to it while I wait for classes to start.

Here's the website if you're interested:

And here's the link to the episode that got me hooked, and is honestly still one of my overall favorites. It's about what makes us laugh. :) And you haven't lived till you've heard a mouse laughing.

Up-Date!

Just a quick update to let you all know why I haven't put anything up recently. I am working on all the suggestions I've gotten - Snake, ROB, Mr. Game and Watch, and... well, I got one suggestion for something Greek. I'll work on that one when I understand exactly what it means. Anyway, I am working on those. I just may not be able to finish anything for at least this week, since school just started and I'm having a hard enough time figuring out what classes I'm gonna keep and which ones I'll drop and so on. So, when I finally get some free time, I'll jump right back on the drawing saddle.

In the meantime, I always love more suggestions. :)

Suggestions?

So, I've colored and updated all the SSBB pictures I have so far. Any suggestions on who I should try next? Or suggestions for a completely different picture I should do?
